Reviews - The Tails of Hamelin - The Pied Piper Musical

Once again Chris Blackwood delivers a libretto which is witty, stylish and uniquely clever, giving a new slant to the classic story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Piers Chater Robinson's tuneful, new score will have you rocking in the aisles, tapping your feet, shedding a tear, at the tragic heart-wrenching denouement, and humming all the way home.

"I really am just blown away by this script and the amazing options and flexibility it provides.  As a youth theatre producer, this kind of script flexibility and the kinds of options, variety and quality you offer in the work is an absolute dream.  Thank you.

"We really loved this show and of all the shows I've produced at this school I think the cast enjoyed this more than any...

The feedback from the other pupils has been great - they found it funny and loved the music...

I was excited by the "blank canvas". The idea of being able to "pick and mix" to suit worked well for us as did the inclusion of non-singing roles...

There is a need for this sort of show... Please more shows like this!...

Our favourite part was... actually all the musical numbers!!...

The service from ITM has always been good."

"It's a great show, with a terrific script and wonderful music. We are particularly excited to be the North American premiere!"

RF, Managing Director, Mountain Dream Productions, USA

"It was very well received... We had full houses for the performances and sold out each night...  It was nice to perform something different that you could arrange to suit your cast... The backing tracks were excellent... We had an enjoyable show and we hope to perform another one of your shows in the future"
